It really makes me and others think more of whats going on around us, and what's been going on. Like it says in the poem we can't just keep our minds to 1 or 2 events that's happened recently such as the 9/11. We need to think about the wider picture. We need to think about all those who died all around the world and those who are dying every second, the thousands, the millions. The people who are now dying now. Again like it says in the poem, it will probably take our whole lives worth to stay in silence to look and respect those who have shaped our world to one that we can now live in. No words can describe the emotion that hits me when reading this poem.
I enjoyed the poem a lot
This is the type of poem we should be studying in our GCSE's or A-lvls.
Thanks againAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3869433775702147571.post-18913964331490476892010-09-17T10:36:40.607-07:002010-09-17T10:36:40.607-07:00Thanks for uploading this poem, I wouldn't hav...Thanks for uploading this poem, I wouldn't have seen it otherwise.
An emotional yet thoughtful and amazingly amazing poem.
